Learn Behind An Actual Bar From Our Qualified Instructors
Our classroom is set up like a real cocktail lounge with a 40 foot full service bar, and our students sit and watch our instructors make each and every drink right in front of them. This ensures that every student understands what he or she is doing for each of the six drink lessons. Our bartending class is divided between 20% lecture and 80% practice time, so that students can get as much hands on experience as possible, while still getting the necessary guidance from our experienced instructors. There are also two lectures: one on how liquors are made and the other on the State Liquor Laws and how to serve responsibly.
Once the lecture/demonstration is over, the students partner up, one plays the bartender making the drinks and the other is the customer calling out the drinks, making each and every drink multiple times to acquire the hands on memorization of the ingredients and accurate pouring. Class time also includes simulated happy hour drills to work on the student's speed, efficiency, and professional technique. The bottles are all filled with colored water and we use real ice, soda guns, and glassware at each station.
Our 40 hour Professional Mixology/bartender course consists of ten 4-hour lessons. Classes start every Monday with an introduction to the "ins and outs" of bartending, mixing station or “well” set up, and techniques for accurately pouring drinks. We now offer weekday morning, afternoon, and evening classes to fit any schedule.
In addition, we have the option of tailoring a flexible schedule using any combination of day, evening or special times to fit any student’s situation.

The school recognizes that adults have lives and commitments that may prevent them from attending one of our standard schedules. Regardless of your personal situation, if you want to attend our school and will make the effort to get here, we will work out a schedule for you. If you are in need of a special schedule, we will work one out for you during your personal interview with our enrollment director.
